The Pope of Trash, The Sultan of Sleaze, The King of Bad Taste - whatever you'd like to call him, one of Baltimore's most famous residents is coming to London's Southbank Centre to discuss his career once again in December and I for one can't wait!
Director of the shocking Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Cecil B. Demented and tame in comparison - Hairspray, John Waters has been known to shake up the cinema world quite a bit during his career.
Being an established author and painter also, an evening with John Waters is always full of good story telling and funny anecdotes to make you laugh.
I saw his show at the Hammersmith Apollo a few years ago and can only sing his praises. I left with my stomach hurting from laughing and can safely say Waters is a born public speaker.
The talk happens on Friday 3rd September in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London - A great venue.

Also another event I'd recommend attending is a John Waters Night on Thursday 30th September at 229 The Venue in London.
The night includes a double bill of two of John Waters film, DJ's and "Low Brow Entertainment".
Tickets are £5 in advance or £10 on the door.
It's sure to be a good night!
